I pay homage to the great teachers, sons of the Lord Buddha,
those who have practised well and rightly the path of Dhamma ;
those whose body, speech and mind are guided by sīla,
samādhi and paññā ; those who have
attained the complete purity that is the goal of the Holy Life.
